Tripura Public Service Commission (TPSC) has released Advertisement No. 27/2025 for recruitment to the post of Inspector of Factories (Group-A, Gazetted) under the Factories & Boilers Organisation, Labour Department, Government of Tripura. Eligible Indian citizens can apply online for 02 permanent posts (SC-01 & ST-01) through the official portal of TPSC.

Age Limit
Maximum age: 40 years as on 21.11.2025
Upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST and Government
employees. SC/ST Govt employees will not get double relaxation.
Salary / Pay Scale
The selected candidates will receive a salary in the
Cell-1 of Level-16 of the Tripura State Pay
Matrix, 2018 under the
Tripura State Civil Services (Revised Pay) (First Amendment)
Rules, 2018.
Pay is subject to revision by the Government from time to
time.
Selection Process
- Written Examination: 180 Marks (MCQ Type, Duration – 3 Hours)
- Interview / Personality Test: 20 Marks
- Candidates will be shortlisted for Personality Test based on written exam marks.
- Final merit = Written Marks + Personality Test Marks.
Syllabus & Exam Pattern
- Total Marks: 200 Marks (180 for Written + 20 for Personality Test)
- Written Exam: Multiple Choice Type (OMR Based)
- Time Duration: 3 Hours
